I was listening to Pandora radio today and I heard a lot of songs that I forgot about. While soaking in the rage-filled Eminem mind games, metaphoric Jay-z couplets, marijuana-induced Snoop Dogg izzles and publicly noted Lupe Fiasco cries for change, I began to ask myself who the greatest rapper of the decade really is. I know that BET weighed in on the topic, but let’s be honest…nobody believes anything that BET says. Why? Because they’re BET. I’ll come clean and admit that I wasn’t a big fan of this song when it first came out. To tell the truth, I still haven’t been converted but I have some hilarious memories watching my drunken friends run around their rooms and swear that they were Penn State gangsters. LOL. Enjoy.
The Roots x Eminem x DJ Jazzy Jeff all on one stage?! Gotta love it. I don’t normally like VH1 but I’ll admit that they came up with a perfect combination with this one.
